On the afternoon of September 14, Vice Minister of Commerce Qian Keming chaired the fourth session of the China-Bahrain Joint Economic Committee with Yousef Abdullah Hammoud, Under-Secretary for Financial Affairs of the Ministry of Finance and National Economy of Bahrain. The two sides exchanged opinions and reached broad consensus on such topics as hosting a successful Inaugural China-Arab Summit, deepening Belt and Road cooperation, enhancing bilateral trade and investment facilitation, promoting cooperation on infrastructure and emerging areas, and tightening communication and cooperation between SMEs. Anwaer, the Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Mohammed Adnan Sheikho and representatives of relevant departments attended the meeting. The two sides signed minutes after the meeting.
