On November 9-10, 2017, Vice Minister of Commerce Qian Keming led a delegation to attend the 5th BRICS International Competition Conference in Brasilia and made a keynote speech named “strengthening competition policy coordination and moving towards the second decade of successful cooperation”. During the conference, Qian signed Brasilia Joint Statement with other BRICS’ officials from competition organizations and the Memorandum of Understanding on Antitrust Cooperation between MOFCOM and CADE with the President of Brazilian Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE in Portuguese) Alexandre Barreto de Souza.
